Deputies looking for Nipomo stabbing suspect

Sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who allegedly stabbed someone during a fight in Nipomo on Tuesday.

An estimated five people were involved in the fight, which is thought to have started as a landlord/tenant dispute in the 1400 block of West Tefft Street at 3:30 p.m.

As various relatives arrived at the home, the fight escalated into a violent altercation that involved the use of car parts, rocks, a crow bar and ended in the stabbing of one person, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Department.

The stabbing victim was treated for a non-life threatening neck wound at Marian Medical Center, and was later released.

Deputies are looking for Christopher Craig Thole, the alleged stabber. Thole, 26, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, 150 pounds and has hazel eyes and shaved blond hair.
