Paso Robles

A Paso Robles teen recently had lunch with a celebrity as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties’ 1,000th wish.

Geoffrey Baldovino, 17, has cardiomyopathy — a condition related to a weak heart — and has had a heart transplant.

The foundation, with chapters nationwide, grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. As part of his gift, he lunched with actor and comedian Robin Williams in Corte Madera, and his family was surprised with tickets to Williams’ show at the Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley.
