University of Oregon freshman Jordan Hasay finished third today in the women's 6K Invitational Blue race today at the NCAA pre-meet at Terre Haute, Ind.
Running on the LaVern Gibson Course at Indiana State University where the NCAA Championships will be later this season, Hasay finished in 20 minutes, 33 seconds. She led Oregon a third-place finish in the team standings with 169 points.
Colorado's Jenny Barringer, a multiple NCAA All-American, won the women's individual race in 19:50.9 to lead the Buffaloes to the team title with 94 points. Florida State's Susan Kuijken was second overall, finishing 12.2 seconds ahead of Hasay, the former Mission Prep star, in leading the Seminoles to second in the team race with 135 points.
In the men's team standings, Cal Poly was 10th with 303 points. Oregon won the team title with 79 points.
