The California Conservation Corps is sending crews to Atascadero today to do cleanup work after Tuesday's storm.
Two crews of 25 members from San Luis Obispo will clear debris and downed trees throughout Atascadero at the request of the California Emergency Management Agency.
The crews will focus their efforts in the downtown area and various parks.
The California Conservation Corps is a state agency that hires young men and women age 18 to 25 to do a year of natural resource work and emergency assistance.
