A community college chancellor position in Alabama that Cuesta College President David Pelham interviewed for last week has been reopened, the Associated Press reported Thursday.
The Alabama State Board of Education voted to seek more applicants after there were only two whom a majority of the board wanted to call back for a second interview.
Cuesta President David Pelham interviewed for the job Oct. 1. The position would supervise the state’s entire community college system.
He was one of about a dozen candidates interviewing for the job, according to some Alabama newspapers.
