Two fundraisers and other ongoing efforts are scheduled this week to help pay rehabilitation costs for Isaac Lindsey, the Templeton High School football player who suffered a traumatic brain injury during a Sept. 18 game.
Lindsey was transferred to Santa Clara Valley Acute Rehabilitation center in San Jose earlier this month for what is expected to be an extended stay, after spending two weeks in Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
On Monday, Griff’s Bistro and Pizzeria will hold a fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m., with 40 percent of all revenues donated to help support Lindsey’s rehabilitation. The restaurant is at 1055 Main Street in Templeton.
On Thursday, Carl’s Jr. in Paso Robles will donate 20 percent of purchases made from 5 to 10 p.m. The eatery is at 2201 Theater Drive.
