Golden State Water Co. is holding a contest that invites customers to share photos of their golden lawns — as part of the water conservation — for a chance to win a $100 credit toward their next water bill.
The contest, a collaboration between Golden State and the statewide program Save Our Water, is designed to reward those who have limited or stopped watering their lawns during the drought to preserve water supplies.
Prizes will be awarded on Sept. 30 for the top two photos submitted, with a $50 credit going to the second place finisher.
Photos can be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or sent to @GoldenStateH2O on Twitter using the hashtag #GoGoldCA.
Golden State services part of Los Osos and Edna Valley.
