The Templeton Independence Day parade was held along Main and Crocker Streets in Templeton, Saturday. A celebration in Templeton Community Park was the place to be after the parade. The park was packed with people celebrating the day, with homemade picnics, barbeque, entertainment, music, fun and games. Prior to the parade, a pancake breakfast was served by the Templeton Fire Department. The parade is sponsored by the Templeton Kiwanis.
The North County Veterans Color Guard and Honor Guard led the Templeton Independence Day Parade on Saturday.
Crowds gathered early in Templeton to get prime views of the Fourth of July parade as it rolled along Main and Crocker streets on Saturday morning. Colorful floats, marching bands, bicycle crews, dancers and much more delighted the flag-waving crowd.
