Naked man arrested after his streaking stops traffic on Hwy. 101

A man has been arrested after he was found running naked on Highway 101 on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

About 6:30 p.m., officials received a report of a naked man running on northbound Highway 101 in Paso Robles, near eastbound Highway 46, the CHP said. When officers arrived, they saw a naked Hispanic man running on the highway, south of the Spring Street offramp, the CHP said. Authorities temporarily stopped northbound traffic until they could safely take the man into custody.

The man, whom officials identified as 45-year-old Jehovah Creed Jr., was taken to the San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of public intoxication, authorities said.

Creed has arrest warrants out of Kansas and a history of run-ins with law enforcement in San Luis Obispo County, as well as law enforcement in Arizona and Alabama, the CHP said.
