The Bishop Peak trailhead at Highland Drive trailhead will be closed until Sept. 18, according to the San Luis Obispo Parks and Recreation Department. Workers will be clearing brush and doing other “fuel reduction” work, the department said.

Hikers will still be able to get to Bishop Peak via the trailhead on Patricia Drive, the department said.
