A brush fire in Templeton burned 3 acres of land Monday afternoon.
The fire was first reported about 3:10 p.m. in the area of South El Pomar Road and Summit Road, according to Cal Fire and the California Highway Patrol’s incident page. It grew to 3 acres just a half-hour later, according to Cal Fire.
By 3:50 p.m., however, the fire was contained and crews were mopping up hot spots, Cal Fire said.
