Interested in learning more about the current housing situation in San Luis Obispo, and offering suggestions to city council members?
The city will host a forum tonight at 6 p.m. at the Ludwick Community Center at 864 Santa Rosa St.
The Housing Policy & Law Forum is designed to help the community better understand the housing situation on both a state and local level, with an emphasis on how state laws affect local housing decisions, according to city staff. The forum will include a discussion on how affordable housing works and statistics on county and city home sale and rental prices, along with information about upcoming state housing laws.
San Luis Obispo County has long been ranked one of the least affordable places to live nationwide.
