Fourth of July Celebration in Templeton

7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Templeton Fire Department’s pancake breakfast at 7 a.m. followed by parade, live music by the Turkey Buzzards, food trucks, bounce houses and more until 3 p.m. Folding chairs, shade awnings and picnic blankets recommended. No dogs. No fireworks. Templeton Park, 550 Crocker St. Free. 805-434-1789.

Avila Beach Fourth of July Pancake Breakfast

8 to 11 a.m.

Outside tables and puppy-sitters available so that you can get your breakfast and eat with other dog lovers in the garden. Avila Beach Community Center, 191 San Miguel St. $7, adults; $3, children 6 and under. 805-627-1997.
