Authorities are expecting higher temperatures today, which could have an effect on the fire, but “it’s still looking really good,” said Cal Fire spokesman Chris Elms. All road closures have been lifted, but officials are asking people to drive safely and watch for fire engines.
Firefighters are expected to remain on scene for the next few days as they continue to contain the fire, extinguish hot spots and mop up, Elms said.
Additionally, the three structures the fire destroyed have been confirmed as homes, Elms said.
