Expect traffic delays this week on Highway 101 in North County

Heads up, North County residents: There will be some traffic delays this week.

Starting Monday, Caltrans will begin a four-day maintenance project as crews pave the bridge approaches on both directions of Highway 101 at the Highway 46 West intersection in Paso Robles. They will also pave the bridge approaches on Highway 101 at Las Tablas Road in Templeton, Caltrans said.

Crews will be working on the northbound side from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the southbound side from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect delays that could last up to 30 minutes, Caltrans said. The agency encourages drivers to use an alternate route if possible.

Here is a list of all the closures:

▪  Monday: The northbound and southbound left lanes of Highway 101 will be closed at the Highway 46 West intersection in Paso Robles.

▪  Tuesday: The northbound and southbound right lanes of Highway 101 will be closed at the Highway 46 West intersection in Paso Robles.

▪  Wednesday: The northbound and southbound left lanes of Highway 101 will be closed at the Las Tablas Road intersection in Templeton.

▪  Thursday: The northbound and southbound right lanes of Highway 101 will be closed at Las Tablas Road in Templeton.
