A brush fire burned 150 acres in Shandon on Wednesday.

The fire started just before noon in the 1900 block of Lucy Brown Road, according to Cal Fire spokesman Chris Elms, and was threatening a structure. By about 1:15 p.m., 120 acres of land had burned, but the threat to the structure had been mitigated.

Firefighters were able to completely contain the fire to 150 acres by about 4:25 p.m., according to Cal Fire.
