Bear hit by Honda Accord on Cuesta Grade

A Honda Accord hit a bear on the Cuesta Grade on Sunday morning, according to the CHP.

The incident happened about 11:50 a.m. in the area of Highway 101 and Mount Lowe Road, according to the CHP. The driver of the Honda was not injured, but the car was damaged.

The Department of Fish and Wildlife was called for the bear, the CHP said. Information on the bear’s condition was not available.
