A brush fire that started at a shooting range at Camp San Luis Obispo burned a total 225 acres on Thursday, Cal Fire said.

The fire was first reported about 8:45 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. An hour later, Cal Fire reported that the blaze had grown to 20 acres.

The fire was not contained until 4:40 p.m., about eight hours later, according to Cal Fire.
