Templeton Chamber of Commerce hires new executive director

Sarah Taylor Maggelet, who is part-time executive director for the San Luis Obispo Vocal Arts Ensemble, has been named executive director of the Templeton Chamber of Commerce, another part-time position. She succeeds former director Berdette Robison, who resigned in October after a year.

Maggelet will continue her role at the Vocal Arts Ensemble.

Maggelet and her husband, Scott, own website development firm Applynx Website Solutions. In addition to being a longtime volunteer with the chamber, Sarah Maggelet has also served as president of the Rotary Club of Templeton and as co-coordinator of the annual Wine and Roses Bicycle Ride.

Tallent has a background in hotel management in Southern California and recently relocated to the North County to work at her family-owned olive oil farm and event center, The Groves on 41, according to the news release.
