Bruce G. Ray, president and publisher of The Tribune, has been elected to the California Newspaper Publishers Association’s 35-member board of directors.
Ray’s three-year term began last month.
“For well over 100 years CNPA has been championing a free press in our society while also promoting the economic health of California's newspapers,” Ray said, adding that he looks forward “to helping continue that mission.”
