Talley Farms has started a Fresh Harvest program, which provides fresh local produce to consumers with weekly pick-up at Miner’s Ace Hardware and Farm Supply Co. locations.
The majority of produce in the Talley Farms Fresh Harvest program will come directly from Talley Farms, which uses “sustainable” farming methods, according to a recent news release. Sustainable methods involve using current resources without threatening future generations’ ability to use them too.
The Talley family, which has been farming on the Central Coast since 1948, grows, packs and ships a variety of vegetables throughout the United States and Canada. The family is also known for Talley Vineyards.
