Chowchilla-based Mid-Valley Pipe and Steel Inc. is expanding its operations to the Central Coast.
The Paso Robles Planning Commission recently approved plans for a 32,000-square-foot production and distribution facility at the northeast corner of Union Road and Tuley Road.
Mid-Valley Pipe & Steel supplies carbon, stainless and aluminum steel products to fabricators, farmers, builders and contractors. It has customers from Santa Maria to Gilroy.
Company officials chose to expand into Paso Robles because they say there’s potential for growth in the area, and the new location will allow them to better serve customers.
