'Bachelor' star's website designed by Clever Concepts of Paso Robles

Clever Concepts of Paso Robles recently designed and built a website for the Northern California winery co-owned by the latest singleton featured on ABC’s “The Bachelor.”

Ben Flajnik co-owns Envolve Winery in Sonoma with friends Mike Benziger and Danny Fay. Flajnik appeared as a contestant on last season’s “The Bachelorette,” where his marriage proposal was rejected in the season finale.

“The Bachelor” began its new season last week, giving Flajnik his pick of 25 female contestants.

“They had a kind of temporary website that a friend had made,” said Dennis Clevenger, who owns the local website development company. “It was a design from start to finish. The goal was definitely to launch it by the first episode.”

His team worked for a month and made the deadline with just three days to spare. Envolve’s site includes an e-commerce wine shop.

Envolve found Clever Concepts through recommendations from others in the industry, said Clevenger, who founded the firm in 1998. With two other employees, the company has more than 100 winery clients in California, Oregon and Washington.
