The San Luis Obispo County Economic Vitality Corp., a regional economic development organization, is seeking input from local employers for a workforce housing survey.
The confidential information would be used to help homebuilders, planners and local government officials to make better and more informed decisions about the county’s housing needs, according to the EVC.
The EVC is conducting the survey to: Gather countywide input on current and future workforce housing needs. Highlight circumstances that may impact housing selection. Gauge consumer preferences for housing options.
The survey is part of the EVC’s continuing effort to implement its economic strategy for the county, which aims to create long-term prosperity and job growth here.
