Twin Cities Community Hospital’s chief operating officer, 31-year-old Nicholas Tejeda, was recently one of 12 people named a 2011 Up and Comer by Modern Healthcare magazine.
There were more than 200 nomination entries submitted.
Tejeda received his master’s degree in health services administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center. He spent four years at Catholic Healthcare West and three as vice president of hospital and ambulatory operation at Saint Mary’s Health Network in Reno, Nev..
He recently joined Tenet Healthcare Corp. at Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton.

He also serves as a director on the board of the National Forum for Latino Healthcare Executives.
Debbie Peterson, broker at Peterson Team Realty, has opened a new office at 214 W. Grand Ave. in the Beach Place Development in Grover Beach.
The 1,200-square-foot office provides notary and loan services for the Peterson Team, which includes Peterson and four agents.
