The Applebee’s restaurant in San Luis Obispo at 305 Madonna Road was among the first in the national chain to undergo an image remodel.
The interior and exterior now feature warmer color tones, contemporary design, and details unique to San Luis Obispo, including local murals and photos from each neighborhood. The menu has new food and drink selections. The restaurant was closed Sept. 4 to 7 to complete the work.
“We’re breathing new life into our restaurants, giving them stronger connections to their individual neighborhoods,” Mike Muldoon, brand president for AmRest Applebee’s, said in a recent news release.
