Green Goods moves to new SLO location

Green Goods — which features “environmentally friendly” remodeling products for the home as well as design, consultation and construction services — has moved to a 5,000-square-foot location at 111 South St. in San Luis Obispo.

The new Green Goods location consolidates under one roof what were previously three operations across San Luis Obispo: a showroom, warehouse and a cabinet shop.

The move has doubled the company’s space and reduced its carbon footprint by 25 to 30 percent, according to sales manager Judy King.

Green Goods is owned by brothers Mikel and Brian Robertson, who are both graduates of San Luis Obispo High School.

It first opened in 2005 in Atascadero. Revenue in 2010 was nearly $1 million, King said.
