The Community Counseling Center will present the Lyceum — the third annual Mental Health Awards and Education Luncheon — on Friday at Ventana Grill in Pismo Beach.
Receiving the Arlene Chandler Award will be Elizabeth “Biz” Steinberg, CEO of Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County. Keynote speaker will be Salvador Treviño of Santa Barbara’s Antioch University. Outstanding intern and trainee scholarships will also be awarded.
A continuing education workshop led by Treviño will be offered prior to the luncheon from 9 to 11:30 a.m., offering 3.0 units of credit on the topic “Latino Immigration, Cultural Trauma and Cultural Complex.”
