Adelaida Cellars, located in Paso Robles, recently hired Brianne Engles as assistant winemaker. It also said that Glenn Mitton, winery and vineyard ambassador, has recently been certified as a sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, according to a news release.

Engles, a Cal Poly graduate, has more than 10 years of hands-on experience with winemaking, most recently serving as the enologist at Quintessa Winery in the Napa Valley.

Mitton, with more than 20 years experience in the wine industry, has worked in wholesale wine sales and owned a fine wine shop in the United Kingdom before moving to Paso Robles in 2008. Mitton joined Adelaida Cellars in 2014, where he leads private wine tastings and the winery’s Tour, Taste and Tailgate Tours.
