Mindbody has hired Mike Mansbach, formerly of Blue Jeans Network, as its new president. He takes over that role from Mindbody co-founder Rick Stollmeyer, who remains as chief executive officer and will continue to lead the company’s vision, mission and overall strategy.

The company recast the role for Mansbach, 49, a veteran “Software as a Service” (SaaS) executive who previously worked as president of cloud-based video communications service Blue Jeans Network, as CEO of software firm PunchTab and in various executive roles at cloud-computing company Citrix.

Mansbach’s “vast experience with both business and consumer software platforms and proven capabilities in the SaaS (software as a service) industry will play a pivotal role as we execute on our global growth strategy,” Stollmeyer said in a company news release.

Rick Stollmeyer, co-founder and CEO of Mindbody, leads a tour of the San Luis Obispo-based software company's headquarters on Tank Farm Road in April 2015.

In his new role, Mansbach will work with Stollmeyer and Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Brett White to oversee sales, marketing, customer service, business development and corporate development, according to the release.
