Two more local residents have been arrested in connection with recent burglaries in San Luis Obispo County, police said today.

Gerald Smalley, 34, of San Luis Obispo and Arthur Rocha, 33, of Oceano, have been arrested and are currently being held in San Luis Obispo County Jail.

Courtney Cardoza, 36, and Ryan Krebs, 35, were arrested Jan. 26, police previously announced. Both remained in custody as of Thursday afternoon.

Police investigators have identified about 50 stolen items, including a vehicle, cash, laptops, iPads, digital cameras, bicycles, cell phones, jewelry, fishing gear, purses and passports, according to a news release.

Police said the items belong to 15 different people from Avila Beach, Atascadero, Grover Beach, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.

The items were reportedly stolen during residential, commercial and vehicle burglaries.

Police served nine search warrants in connection with the burglaries and are trying to identify additional victims.

Investigators believe some of the recovered items may not have been reported stolen. Police urge anyone who has been victim of a recent burglary to contact the local police department and file a report.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call San Luis Obispo police at 781-7317 or Crime Stoppers at 549-7867.
