Police at Cal Poly say that nobody was arrested after 742 cars were screened at a sobriety checkpoint conducted from 7 p.m. Friday through 1 a.m. Saturday.
About 1,050 cars went through the checkpoint on campus along northbound Grand Avenue in front of the Sierra Madre and Yosemite dormitories, according to a University Police Department news release.
One driver was cited on suspicion of having a fraudulently obtained driver’s license, police said.
No drivers were checked to see whether they were driving drunk, according to the news release.
