Brush fire east of Paso Robles burns at least 20 acres

Cal Fire crews have contained a brush fire that started about 3:45 p.m. today east of Paso Robles.

The fire, which spread to at least 20 acres, started in a creek bed area at Geneseo Road and Ground Squirrel Hollow, said Cal Fire Capt. Ellen Price.

About 40 firefighters fought the blaze, she said. The cause is still unknown.
