Two suffer major injuries after Hwy. 101 crash in Paso

Two Redwood City residents were sent to the hospital after they hit a tree off Highway 101 in Paso Robles.

Anna Rose Luskin, 20, was driving a 2002 Ford Focus northbound on Highway 101 at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday when she drifted into the divider, according to the CHP. She overcorrected to the right and struck a large oak tree on the edge of the roadway.

She and a passenger, 15-year-old Daniel Luskin, were transferred to Twin Cities Community Hospital with major injuries. Anna Luskin was later transferred to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, where she is in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
