Janitor stabbed at Paso elementary school Monday night

Paso Robles police are investigating an alleged stabbing of a janitor at Virginia Peterson Elementary School Monday night.

The victim told police that he was approached by two men around 9 p.m. as he attempted to open the door to the school teacher’s lounge. One of the men grabbed the victim from behind and cut him with a knife, police said.

The victim received minor injuries and was able to drive himself to Paso Robles High School to report the assault to his supervisor. He was treated by Emergency Services technicians.

Police have not identified any suspects or a motive for the attack.
