Sheriff’s officials expect to resume their search this morning for an 80-year-old woman who disappeared early Friday morning after wandering away from a home.Janet Defelice was last seen around 2:30 a.m. at a home in the 5200 block of Santa Rita Road in Templeton that sheriff’s officials believe is her residence. Sheriff’s officials and a California Highway Patrol helicopter began searching the area shortly after she was reported missing. A search and rescue team also was called in Friday morning to assist in the effort.Crews, hampered by the remote terrain, called off the effort by 8 p.m. Friday, Sgt. Tony Perry said. A CHP airplane and helicopters from Vandenberg and Mather Air Force bases are expected to assist this morning. Defelice suffers from early-stage Alzheimer’s Disease, Perry said. She was reported missing around 8 a.m. by a family member.
