The final Grandstand act for the 2007 California Mid-State Fair has been announced.
Stevie Nicks will play Thursday, July 26. A member of Fleetwood Mac and a solo artist, Nicks is known for singing "Landslide" and other hits. Tickets for her show will be $52, $42 or $26, and will go on sale June 15. Tickets will be available on-line at www.midstatefair.com or www.vallitix.com, any Vallitix outlet, or charge by phone at 1-800-909-FAIR or 1-888-825-5484.
The Bangles, an all-female 1980s band known for songs "Eternal Flame," "Walk Like and Egyptian" and "Manic Monday," will perform on a free stage Thursday, Aug. 2.
Renee Olstead will open "An Evening of Music and Wine with Chris Botti" on Friday, Aug. 3. Tickets are $432 for a reserved table of eight (waitlist), $54 for seating in the Golden Circle and $29 for seating in the Grandstand.
