Hoobastank, Chubby Checker and more coming to Mid-State Fair

Mid-State Fair officials announced four more members of this year’s entertainment lineup on Friday.

Modern rock band Hoobastank with open for Godsmack on July 29 in the Main Grandstand Area. Tickets for the show go on sale May 31 and are $36, $26 and $20.

Chubby Checker and the Wildcats will do the twist on Senior’s day, July 31, in a free show at the Fort Frontier Stage.

Gregg Rolie, the original lead singer of Santana, will perform on the Fort Frontier Stage July 28, another free concert.

And blues musician Elvin Bishop will also perform a free show at the Fort Frontier Stage on July 27, Blues Night at the fair.
