Morro Bay residents arrested after police spot pot from outside

Morro Bay police found nearly 30 marijuana plants at a home after seeing it earlier in the backyard from a public place.

According to Cmdr. Tim Olivas, police found 21 plants in the backyard and eight inside a home on the 2000 block of Hemlock Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. on Monday, May 14.

Patrick Allen Liesch and Maria Dolores Cordovi were arrested on suspicion of cultivating marijuana, maintaining a drug house and possession of drug paraphernalia and were booked in San Luis Obispo County jail.
