SLO High grad found dead in Chico after night of drinking

A San Luis Obispo High School graduate died on Sunday after a night out drinking in Chico.

Stephen William Davis, 23, was found dead at his home on Sunday after his roommate said that he had been out drinking the night before, according to the Chico Police Department.

Davis was a senior at Chico State University and his roommate told the department that he was approaching his graduation this year, police said. His roommate reported that Davis went to sleep on their couch. One Sunday around 2 p.m., the roommate found him blue and not breathing.

The department is conducting an investigation, but police do not suspect foul play.
