The City of Morro Bay will hold a budget workshop next week where local residents are invited to voice their opinion on the city’s proposed allocation of funds for the next few years.
The city council will be reviewing the budget for the current and 08-09 fiscal years including further discussion on the city’s allocation of sales tax revenue.
Morro Bay is expected to receive about $650,000 annually from Measure Q, which was passed by voters in November.
The city council voted last month to devote more than half of that to fire services.
