The Los Osos Community Services District is expected to select a new general manager by this time next month.
The district received 15 applications by the mid-April deadline. Of those, about half are being interviewed by an ad hoc committee on the search for a general manager. A second round of interviews with the five district board members is expected to take place this week.
Three applicants are local and five are from out of the area, including one outside California.
Annajane Hugh, the district’s interim general manager, said a final selection is expected by early June at the latest.
