Shotwell agrees to deal with Oakland Raiders

Former Cal Poly linebacker Kyle Shotwell went undrafted on the final day ofthe NFL Draft but told The Tribune late Sunday that he has agreed to afree-agent deal with the Oakland Raiders.Shotwell, the Buck Buchanan Award winner for the top defensive player inDivision I-AA, watched the draft from his parents’ home in Goleta.He said he will likely travel to Alameda this week to prepare for theRaiders’ upcoming minicamp.See Monday's Tribune for more on the NFL Draft.
