The California Transportation Commission will meet Wednesday and Thursday at the board of supervisors’ chambers in the county government center, 1055 Monterey St., San Luis Obispo.
The commission will discuss the allocation of state transportation money, and San Luis Obispo County hopes to come out of it with $23 million for Highway 41-101 interchange.
“That would allow construction to begin,” says Steve Devencenzi, said deputy director of the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments.
The Wednesday meeting will begin at 1 p.m. On Thursday the commission will convene at 9 a.m.
