A half-dozen incumbent will get to keep their seats on the community’s advisory board.
Voters on April 10 re-elected all incumbents seeking to stay on the Santa Margarita Area Advisory Council, the citizen group created to advise the county Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors on land use and projects in the North County region.
Candidate Evan Thompson was elected to an open seat representing the Las Pilitas and another open seat was not filled due to lack of interest.
The council shrunk by four members after the supervisors’ decision to create a separate elected body to represent Creston. There are now 18 elected members on the Santa Margarita board.
