Co-worker Pat Pemberton sent me these photos his daughter Sunny took last week. Pat was a bit concerned that a cat and dog were getting along and even seemed to be enjoying each other’s company.
“Lenny’s the dog — a Maltese mix — and Gooch is the Maine coon. Like I said, I was drinking the last of my coffee while sitting at the computer desk, getting ready to go to work, when Lenny came and sat on my lap. I was getting ready to give him the boot, but then Gooch jumped up and joined him. I couldn’t resist a double dose of pet warmth, so I hung out a little longer. Then I said to Sunny: ‘Get the camera — we gotta capture this!’ ”
