Being loved to the core is a beautiful thing

And now a few words from a recently adopted four-footed friend.

‘My name is Spike, and I am a Chinese crested dog rescued by my mommy. She took me in and loves and spoils me to my core. I am so lucky. I get to travel in the car, and go walking with my mom — she even bought me a stroller so I can be safe.

I love going to the dog park with my Uncle Dave and have fun with Bridget, a little girl dog that my Uncle Jay and Aunt Coral foster. We participated in a Halloween contest, and I dressed up as a pirate and won first place! I made my mommy proud.

My mommy gives me so much love, and I have a home for life!”
