Humane Society to host chef party
The North County Humane Society will be holding a Pampered Chef party Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Martin-Polin Library Community Room in Atascadero.
Taste delicious recipes, try tools that make kitchen tasks easier and learn new cooking tips. The Pampered Chef will donate a percentage of the sales and $3 per show booking to North County Humane Society.

All-Breed dog show at Paso fairgrounds
The San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria kennel clubs will host an All-Breed Confirmation Show at the Mid-State Fairgrounds in Paso Robles from Nov. 19 to 21.
About 150 different breeds will be eligible to compete for Best in Show. Judging will begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. SLOKC is donating a portion of the entry fee for each dog entered in the Nov. 20 and 21 shows to local animal shelters.
