Fast Eddie Memorial Jam and Oyster Festival, from 11 a.m. to dark on Sunday, features 20 musicians, beer, wine and oyster specials; with free beverages, corndogs and seadogs for kids. Adopt a cat in SLO
The Feline Network of the Central Coast holds kitten adoptions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday at the Petco in the Madonna Shopping Center in San Luis Obispo. Kittens and cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and tested for leukemia and FIV. Adoption fee is $60. The Feline Network urgently needs volunteers to trap feral cats for spay/neuter, especially as kitten season approaches. Trappers are needed in the South County and the city of San Luis Obispo. The Feline Network will provide traps and training. A vehicle is necessary to transport cats to and from trapping sites and vet offices.
