These Baby Ducks Found Their Favorite Summer Treat-and People Are Obsessed
Ahhh, summertime. I don't know about you, but I love the summer. I love the beach, spending time outside, and of course, I really love to indulge in my favorite summer treats. This year I'm all about popsicles, but maybe I will change my tune after seeing the way that a flock of ducklings chowed down on their current favorite summer snack.
This has to be the cutest video on the internet this summer. What would we do if we hadn't seen this clip of a group of baby ducks eating watermelon? My day would be a whole lot more blue, that's for sure.

Now this is how you enjoy the warm weather! The ducklings were having such a good time in the sun. What's even cooler was that they were playing in the watermelon. It's both a toy and a snack!

Peep, peep, peep. Those are the sounds of some very happy baby ducks! We're entering the best of watermelon season, which is good news for the babies. They get to eat lots more of their beloved snack.
What I love about watermelon is how refreshing it is. It must taste so good on a hot day. This watermelon was full of juice and water. What a fun way to keep cool!
"When you're just a cute baby in a watermelon," the video's caption jokes.
Internet commenters were so smitten.
"They're so small they fit in a watermelon??" wrote one person.
"Is it okay for a baby duck to take a bath in watermelon water? It's so darn cute," someone else chimed in.
"Why is this so cute?" another commenter agreed.
"Awe, looks like they are having fun," one person cheered.
Foods That You Can Feed Ducks
It's only natural; you're in the park and you see some ducks, so you want to give them a treat. Before pulling out the Wonder Bread, you should know that bread really isn't the best for ducks. Instead, feed them sweetcorn, lettuce, frozen peas, oats, seeds, and rice.
Sounds delish!
